Mixed Up Animal Collages
Eric Carle’s wonderful book, The Mixed Up Chameleon, inspired this project. Students used their imaginations to invent a mixed up animal, thinking about where it would live and what it would eat. Students used Eric Carle’s technique of painted paper collage to make their final work. Students scraped textures into their paper and cut out shapes to create their animal. Enjoy all of the mixed up animals, each in their imagined natural habitat!
