Architecture Exploration
After finding shapes and lines in different examples of architecture, students worked in their table groups to create collaborative drawings of architecture, including cities and castles.
Students then designed their own imaginary buildings.
Students engaged in experimentation and problem-solving to transform their 2D drawings into 3D cities! Look at all those stairs, bridges, and roads!
We finished this unit by using discarded materials like blocks and constructed more cities with our tables. We even tested them out with plastic animals!
